Fish Roulette Booking Module Open Beta Starting to Take Form
Booking Module Open Beta Starting to Take Form
We cannot thank you enough for the tremendous support everyone has provided during the Fish Roulette open beta. By leveraging our internal networks, we've successfully onboarded numerous new users to the platform and received direct, actionable feedback that we've swiftly implemented to improve the user experience.
Community Feedback Driving Innovation
The response from our beta community has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the first pieces of feedback we received was about friction in finding the registration process for new users. We immediately took action, implementing clearer sign-up paths and improving the onboarding flow to make it easier for captains and coanglers to get started.
But we didn't stop there. Every user who's provided feedback has contributed to making Fish Roulette better for everyone. Your insights are shaping the platform into something truly special.
Direct Captain Outreach
We've even been cold-calling and talking to captains throughout the region, and the sentiment has been overwhelmingly positive. In particular, I had an incredibly insightful 45-minute conversation with a local captain who fishes the popular Lake Minnetonka.
Although I hadn't originally considered established captains as our primary target audience, this seasoned professional was genuinely interested in what Fish Roulette has to offer. We discussed similar competitors and their fee structures - many charge a variable percentage based commission that can feel egregious and unsustainable for a Captain. Our flat $20 fee resonated strongly with him as a fair and transparent approach.
